Uttar Pradesh Scholarship
The Uttar Pradesh Social Welfare Department (UPSWD) provides UP Scholarship 2022 to the candidates studying between Class 9 and post-graduation. The UP Scholarship 2022-2023 is intended to provide financial aid to the candidates who are economically poor and are struggling to afford education.
The Uttar Pradesh state has started the scholarship and the fee reimbursement online system to help the students studying in Uttar Pradesh state get a scholarship within the reach of their own houses and without going to different types of Government officers every now and then. Scholarships are provided to post-matric and also pre-matric students. Post matric Scholarships can also be provided to the student currently studying in other states. There are different types of scholarships available for all kinds of students. Every year the scholarships are provided to the candidates.
Uttar Pradesh Scholarship 2022 Documents.
- Aadhar card
- Caste certificate
- Marksheet/Certificate of the qualifying examination
- Bank passbook
- Receipt of fee submitted at school
- Current board/university registration number
- Income certificate
- Domicile certificate
Eligibility Criteria:
- The student must be studying in a School/College located in the state.
- Only students who have a domicile in Uttar Pradesh can apply for this scholarship.
- The School/College of a student must be registered on the UP-scholarship portal.
- SC, ST, General, OBC category students are eligible for the UP Scholarship 2022.
- Sikh, Christian, Muslim, Bodh, Jain, and Parsi students can also apply for the same under the Minority category.
- For post-matric scholarship, the family income should equal to or less than Rs. 2 lakh/annum.
- The family income of a student should not be more than Rs. 1 lakh/annum to apply for UP pre-matric scholarship.
- For Pre-matric Scholarship: The student must be studying in the 9th or 10th class.
- For Post-matric Scholarship (Other than 11th, 12th): The student must have enrolled in a graduation or post-graduation course in a recognized University/College.
- For Post-matric Scholarship: The student must be studying in the 11th or 12th class.
